macOS installation and setup

For Apple Silicon and Intel Macs, the reference includes nine clients: ClashX, ClashX Pro, ClashX Meta, Clash Verge, Clash Verge Rev, Clash for Windows, FlClash, Mihomo Party, and Clash Nyanpasu.

  1. Check chip architectureOpen About This Mac. M-series Macs use Apple Silicon/arm64 builds; Intel Macs use x64/Intel builds.
  2. Install the appInstall the downloaded .dmg or .pkg into Applications. If macOS blocks opening, allow it in Privacy & Security.
  3. Grant network permissionsOn first launch, allow network extension, system proxy, or VPN permissions and enter your Mac password if requested.
  4. Import and enableImport the subscription URL, update the profile, choose rule mode and a policy group, then enable system proxy or enhanced/TUN mode.

Tip: After switching networks or waking from sleep, toggle system proxy off and on, then update the subscription or switch nodes if needed.
